Contributor (General)

This freelance position would be responsible for writing 1-3 articles on video and computer gaming monthly, through a combination of pitches by the contributor and pieces assigned by editors. The Contributor (General) will work mostly on less specialized articles, perhaps retro but with less of an international focus. All pieces are paid in keeping with standard rates for the video game journalism industry.

If interested in this position, please send an e-mail to Editor-in-Chief Nicholas Tristan. In the e-mail include the following information:

  • A portfolio of 3-5 articles you have written, preferably on video or computer gaming. They do not need to be published at a major outlet (i.e. a personal blog or Medium or whatever is fine).

  • A list of any editorial, publishing, or web dev experience you have.

  • Say something about a video or computer game you love! That’s always fun.

  • Also, let us you know where you live, your primary country of residence — we’re pretty confident we can get you paid the world over, but best to make sure!
